Tetshuchi Shiozaki (潮崎哲士) is a player of the Shohoku High School Basketball Team. He is 170 cm and is a 2nd Year. He is the starting shooting guard of the team prior to Hisashi Mitsui's return, but eventually became a substitute for the rest of the series as Mitsui took over his starting spot.

Shiozaki was one of the starting 5 in Shohoku's practice match against Ryonan High School. He was given the no. 8 jersey. Shiozaki scored 2 points in the first half. He was substituted for Rukawa Kaede with 2 minutes remaining toward the end of the game.

When Mitsui's gang invades Shohoku's basketball gym, Shiozaki gets punched by Tetsuo. Hanamichi Sakuragi eventually avenges him and dedicates one of his punches on Tetsuo to Shiozaki.

Shiozaki started Shohoku's first match of the Inter High Regional tournament against Miuradai due to Coach Anzai punishing the participants who fought during Mitsui's invasion of the Shohoku gym by benching them (Mitsui, Sakuragi, Rukawa, and Ryota Miyagi).

Shiozaki celebrated at the end of the match against Takezato, and was one of the 5 players in uniform along with Miyagi, Rukawa, Mitsui, and Yasuharu Yasuda at the referee's whistle. Since Sakuragi did not play from oversleeping and Akagi subbed off early in the match, it is likely that Shiozaki played and finished the match even though his participation was not shown.

Shiozaki watched Kainan v. Ryonan with his team after Shohoku's win against Takezato. Shiozaki remained to watch the end of the match while Shohoku's starters left early (including Akagi, Kogure, and Ayako who went to check in on Coach Anzai at the hospital). Afterwards, he went to the hospital with the rest of the team.

In preparation for the national tournament, Shiozaki was part of the "A" team for Shohoku's scrimmages.
