Nozomi Takamiya (高宮 望 Takamiya Nozomi) is one of the members of Sakuragi's Gang. He is one of Sakuragi's closest friends. He is a short, fat and bespectacled guy who is often lazy, gets hungry easily and like most of Sakuragi's gang, is not above childish pranks and constantly makes fun of Sakuragi more than any other member.
However he still holds a deep sense of loyalty to Sakuragi and does not hesitate to fight or help when required. He is also seen as confident in his looks and chases beautiful girls around him.
Etymology[]
- The name Nozomi means "wish, desire, hope" (望).
- Nozomi's surname Takamiya means "tall, high" (高) (taka) and "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya).
