Synopsis[]
The Shohoku Basketball Team faces an unusual crisis when four of its best players - Hanamichi Sakuragi, Kaede Rukawa, Ryota Miyagi and Hisashi Mitsui, are at risk of being disqualified from participating in the National Championship Games due to their poor academic grades, prompting Team Captain Takenori Akagi to beg the school authorities to give them a retry test and draft them into a study camp at his house.
