I'm Going to Play Basketball! (オレは バスケットをやる! - Ore wa Basuketto o yaru!) is the ninth episode of Slam Dunk anime series. The opening theme is Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai which is performed by BAAD. The ending theme is Anata Dake Mitsumeteru which is performed by Maki Ohguro.
Synopsis[]
Tatsuhiko Aota continues to try and bribe Hanamichi Sakuragi into joining the Judo Club using Haruko Akagi's photos. Sakuragi decides that he will take the pictures, but not join the Judo Club. The two get into a fight, and Sakuragi declares that he will not join the Judo Club as he is a basketball player.

Kogure’s reaction in Sakuragi is more overdramatized in the anime. In the manga, Aota tries to get Sakuragi’s fingerprint on a piece of paper on a desk while in the anime the paper is on the floor.
