Synopsis[]
Coach Anzai's strategy of putting four of his players to stop Shinichi Maki while Hanamichi Sakuragi faces Soichiro Jin alone bears results as Shohoku manages to close the gap once again. With only four minutes left, Kainan is still on the lead by four points with a score of 78 against Shohoku's 74.
