The Gorilla's Injury! Desperate Situation!? (ゴリ負傷!絶体絶命!? - Gori Fushō! Zettai Zetsumei!?) is the fifty-third episode of Slam Dunk series.
Synopsis[]
Coach Anzai asks for a time-out and substitutes Hanamichi Sakuragi. Kaede Rukawa is heated-up and starts scoring for Shohoku. Takenori Akagi assists with rebounds but takes a misstep and injures his foot. As he has to be taken out, Sakuragi goes back into the court with some words from Coach Anzai for him and Rukawa. In the meantime, Ryonan is winning with an overwhelming difference against Takezato.
