A Fruitless Afternoon (根性なしの午後 - Konjō Nashi no Sabato) is the fifth episode of Slam Dunk anime series. The opening theme is Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai which is performed by BAAD. The ending theme is Anata Dake Mitsumeteru which is performed by Maki Ohguro.
Synopsis[]
Hanamichi Sakuragi is tired of being made to do basic dribbling practice by himself. After Takenori Akagi refuses to let him practice with the rest of the basketball team, Sakuragi gets into a fight with him and quits the club. Later, he regrets his actions and returns to the club.
