"End of the Basketball Team" is the 58th chapter of the Slam Dunk manga.
Summary[]
Hanamichi and Rukawa tell Mitsui to take his shoes off and wipe off the basketball, but Mitsui spits on the ball. However, Yasuda stops an enraged sakuragi from attacking and begs Mitsui to leave. Mitsui slaps Yasuda, and Rukawa steps in, but Ryu attacks Rukawa with the broken mop, injuring Rukawa. However, Rukawa remains conscious and takes down Ryu with one punch, sealing the team's fate.
