Shohoku team arrives at Ryonan High
The day of the practice match between Ryonan High School and Shoko High School has arrived. Hanamichi and his colleagues travel by subway to the city where the enemy's facilities are located. As the Shohuko High basketball team board the subway, some local delinquents discuss recent encounters with defenseless people. One of them tries to figure out how he attacked the vulnerable. While they are talking, the Shohuko High basketball team makes their terrifying entrance to the subway. These local scammers were trying to act overconfidently. They become aware of Hanamichi and his companion's tall or muscular physique, and these thugs become afraid of them. Hanamichi stares at her and tells her to move openly.
When one of the delinquents asks a colleague who they are and these individuals notice their larger physique, they think they must be professional judo wrestlers. Team managers Ayako and Anzai coach will travel with Hanamichi and others. Takenori is excited to confront his rival Uozumi. Enthusiastically, Takenori seriously asks his colleague if he wants to meet a bitter opponent at Ryonan Hai. Hanamichi answers with confidence, yes. Kogure, the deputy captain of the team, asks his teammates to speak down. Other city dwellers traveling by subway can be disturbed. All of them ignore Kogure's advice and loudly yells defeat Ryonan High. The subway train midway stops at a station. Two young teenagers from that city casually try to enter the subway train. Both notice the intensity and intimidation of the Shohuko High basketball team. Takenori and teammates to prepare themselves are doing some light back leg exercises on the subway. Ayako is confused and stares. Kogure exchanges opinions with the captain. You are on the subway and this type of training looks uncomfortable and unnecessary.

Ryonan High's coach Moichi Taoka
Takenori replies that his opponent is a strong Ryonan Hai and the team needs to be mentally and physically ready and have such a fighting spirit. Ayako asked her Hanamichi how she felt when she participated in her first official practice match. She confidently replies that Hanamichi is a genius basketball player and she isn't worried at all. Rukawa, sitting next to Hanamichi, makes fun of his new teammate who is undoubtedly stuttering. Hanamichi glares at his rivals and asks him to repeat what he said? Rukawa further criticizes Hanamichi for being too noisy on the subway and trying to hide tension. Ayako joins their discussion and is her team's first practice session, trying to calm the tense situation by saying that everyone may be tense. Indignant at Rukawa's candid words, Hanamichi confidently criticizes her as having the same skills as a junior high school student. Hanamichi confidently says, "Who controls the game who controls the rebound?" Kogure smiles at Hanamichi's opinion. Kogure then asks his captain how much he and Hanamichi practiced last night and how their new team members behave. Takenori replied that he had only one training with Hanamichi and it was too early to ask that question. Still cheeky Hanamichi told his boss to defeat Ryonan Hai. Hanamichi asks his boss if he knows anything about Akira Sendoh and Captain Uozumi of Ryonan High School. Ayako is frightened when she hears this, and she doesn't answer. Hanamichi confidently answers not to underestimate Sakuragi's information network. Kogure is pleased that only Hanamichi gathered information about his partner, Ryonan Hai. Takenori uncertainly stared at Hanamichi and arrived at Ryonan Subway Station. Takenori confidently confronts intimidating enemies as the captain shouts. Ryonan Hai's inexperienced freshman Hikoichi is helping his fellow practitioners. Hikoichi is not a starting member and he is a little nervous because his team is against Shoko High School. Beside him, uncertain Hikoichi says their team captain Uozumi was a little more worried than usual. Hikoichi notices it at her school today. Two sports correspondents are in their facility and ask why they are there. It's just a practice game.
Takenori and his team make a terrifying arrival at Ryonan Hai. I'm scared to see her for her first few years at Ryonan Hai. One of the beginners says that Shohoku High has a big member. She says Hanamichi is excited to defeat Sendo. Takenori was angry and slammed Hanamichi on his forehead and told him to act. All newcomers ask Hikoichi who this orange-haired person is. Ignoring his companions, Hikoichi says he meets Hanamichi and is looking forward to this fierce practice match. Hanamichi smiles and replies that he will defeat Sendo. Anzai coach meets Taoka Moichi, the head coach of the Ryonan Hai basketball team. Taoka politely apologizes to Dr. Anzai for the fact that the team had to travel so far for the practice match. Anzai replies that it was a pleasant brief travel journey. Taoka urges his freshman Hikoichi to bring a chair for Anzai sensei. Seeing Anzai-sensei's chubby physique Hikoichi asks his coach which kind of chair a wideone. Taoka angrily smacks Hikoichi in the forehead and tells him to behave.

Takenori Akagi and Jun Uozumi
Taoka politely tells Anzai-sensei that their team should have travelled to Shohuko High for the practice match, and since they all travelled this far, he doesn't know what to say. Hanamichi caught the attention of trainers and told staff that Anzai-sensei didn't know it was so popular and impressive. Takenori politely introduces himself to Taoka as the team captain of Shohoku High. When Taoka shook hands with Takenori, he replied that he was happy to see him. Taoka confidently tells Takenori that Uozumi has trained hard to defeat you (Takenori) and looks forward to competing with each other. Takenori stares at Taoka and does not answer. At that same time, Uozumi makes his intimidating appearance on the court, and he firstly greets Anzai-sensei. Uozumi then stares towards his archrival Takenori. Hanamichi, on seeing the Ryonan High's Captain feels excited. One of the Shohuko High first-years compliments amazing Uozumi is taller than Takenori. Hanamichi scolds them and confidently states that he will defeat Sendoh and Uozumi. Alongside Hanamichi, Rukawa notices the intimidating appearance of Uozumi and says he is a very tall athlete. Takenori shakes hands with rival Uozumi. Uozumi is competitive, so he ignored Takenori's handshake and said that the Ryonan High School team would win. Takenori smiles at his rivals and shows his usual arrogance.
